Event & Adventure Terms & Conditions

By booking a ZenYogis event or adventure, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Bookings & Payment

A place is confirmed once payment has been received.

Parents and carers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about each child attending, including any medical conditions, allergies, injuries or additional needs that may affect their participation.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event can receive a refund or credit towards a future ZenYogis event or adventure.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.

If your child is unwell or exceptional circumstances arise, please contact ZenYogis before the event begins. A credit towards a future event may be offered at ZenYogis' discretion.

A booked place may be transferred to another child if you contact ZenYogis before the event and the transfer is approved.

This policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If ZenYogis Cancels or Postpones

If ZenYogis cancels an event, families can choose a full refund or credit towards a future event.

If an event is postponed and your child cannot attend the new date, you can also choose a refund or credit.

Weather & Changes to the Day

Some ZenYogis events take place outdoors and may go ahead in light rain or changing weather.

Activities, locations, routes or timings may be adjusted when reasonably necessary because of weather, venue conditions, group needs or safety.

If conditions are considered unsuitable, ZenYogis may change, postpone or cancel an event.

Participation, Safety & Liability

ZenYogis events may include yoga, movement, games, meditation, martial arts-inspired activities and outdoor adventures.

We take reasonable care to provide a safe, supportive environment and encourage children to participate according to their individual abilities and follow their teachers' guidance.

As with any physical activity, there are inherent risks, including slips, falls, accidents and injuries.

By giving permission for their child to participate, parents and guardians acknowledge these risks.

ZenYogis is not responsible for injuries or accidents arising from the inherent risks of participation, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Medical Information & Emergency Care

Parents and carers must provide relevant medical, allergy and additional support information, along with an emergency contact who can be reached during the event.

If a child becomes unwell or injured, ZenYogis will provide appropriate care and contact their parent or guardian as soon as possible.

If urgent medical attention is needed, ZenYogis may arrange emergency medical assistance, including calling an ambulance. Parents and guardians are responsible for any associated medical or ambulance costs, where permitted by law.

Water Activities

Some events may include optional beach or shallow-water activities.

Where water activities are included, details will be provided for that particular event and parent or carer permission will be required before a child can participate.

Water activities may be changed or cancelled depending on weather and water conditions.

Drop-off & Collection

Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring children arrive at the designated meeting place at the stated time and are collected from the designated pick-up location, unless other arrangements have been agreed.

Please contact ZenYogis as soon as possible if you expect to be late for collection.

What to Bring

Each event will include a list of what children need to bring.

Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring their child arrives with suitable clothing, footwear, food, water and any personal medication or other items specified for that event.

Family Information & Permissions

Families are required to complete the Event & Adventure Family Form before attending.

This form provides important contact, health and emergency information, along with permissions relevant to the event.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
